Kabrea James is a journalist and artist from Beckley, West Virginia.
A graduate from Marshall University, James studied Print Journalism and Creative Writing.
Formerly a Digital Media Editor and Reporter for the Register-Herald, James is the creator and main contributor of Leuphorique.com. James also contributes to Black By God – The West Virginian.
In terms of art, James is an acrylic painter looking to translate her love for nature, human connection, spiritual enlightenment and free expression through vibrant color and mixed-media. James also enjoys restorative work and finding forgotten antiques to bring back to life.
James is currently leading Inner Sunshine Arts, a youth arts initiative in Beckley.
